Platform 4 presents: Triffids! A gig theatre adventure in music sound and pictures.

“Platform 4 are a Remarkable Company.” Lyn Gardner The Guardian

METEORS! KILLER PLANTS! B MOVIES! This remarkable collision of music, text and rich visual imagery takes the audience deep into John Wyndham's classic cold war novel: The Day of the Triffids, with a live soundtrack created with instruments including Moog, Double Bass, Theremin, Hammered Dulcimer and... a Cactus! The incredible team behind it have worked with The National Theatre, Bellowhead, Southbank Centre, Kneehigh, BBC and The Bone Ensemble, and together they work a very special magic, as seen in their previous collaboration; the acclaimed INVISIBLE MUSIC.

“An innovative re-imagining of this classic cold war tale. P4 create an extraordinary live experience.”
Andrew Loretto, Hat Fair

“A Compelling Wonderful Piece.” Oxford Contemporary Music
