Producer Gathering
Join Producer Gathering, Marlborough Productions and special guest Producers for a day of knowledge sharing, mutual support and provocation.
We’ll explore the role of the independent producer in the ecology of the cultural sector in 2022, and generate some actions for the future.
Each event hosts a range of inspirational producers to gather and offer insights into independent producing practices happening across the arts sector right now and dive into what it means to be a producer at this time.
Producer Gatherings are a space to exchange information, experiences, and models of working, whilst meeting others to strengthen your networks.
These are free to attend, relaxed and friendly spaces with refreshments and social time built in – suitable for all levels of experience and all career stages – everyone is welcome.
There are a limited number of travel bursaries to cover or contribute to travel costs for producers to attend these events.

Producer Gathering is supported using public funding by Arts Council England.
Producer Gathering will be followed by a performance of Fountain (:) Live by Yewande 103. Attendees are encouraged to stay for informal drinks/conversation after the gathering and would be welcome to attend the performance, tickets are Pay What You Feel starting at £2.50

The event space/s are fully accessible to wheelchair users.
The event will take place indoors with a capacity of 50 people. You may wish to test for Covid-19 before attending, and wear a mask indoors. The doors will remain open for air circulation, and food will be served in the foyer which has easy access to the outdoors.
Speakers will be recorded with transcriptions shared on the Producer Gathering website afterwards.
